I see Austin on another site, bragging about how he’s semi retired, and going to buy a house out west and keep his house in ny. He’s going to run all these out of state traplines. Money’s no object. Jeeze he’s acts like he hit the lottery, spending his parents inheritance and spending the United trappers funds. Lol . Did the United trappers get there money back. This guy is something else.

I wish I knew the hole story. I bet it would be good for a few laughs. The only story is that hes a dreamer, iv seen countless posts that he’s going to do this and do that, the next year he’s still sitting in the same spot still posting and dreaming. He lies and steals. And what from I read he got pinched for trapping illegally. He even admits it. Big trapper like him forgot to get his trapping license and check over the beaver regs lol. Some one asked a question on who won the beaver contest a few years back on the ny forum and my name was brought up, he’s over there bashing me. Ha. Get over it dude.

This guy "Austin", sounds like a high school friend that recently expressed the idea of moving to the U.P.. He supposedly purchased 10 acres adjacent to state land.
He is building his own airplane. Purchased something like 400 traps because of all the beaver houses on the marsh there. And in addition he will have an airfield for his plane.
This person has always "spun a yarn" for years. No one hear ever saw him catch anything other than muskrats and once a mink. He didn't know that it was a mink.
He approached a good friend of mine and his and asked. The friend chuckled to himself and stated he had caught a baby Otter. Needless to say my friend relieved him of it.
And promptly took it and sold it. Having gotten $20.00 at the time had to give up part of the money later(that was all he had left). Not a very happy trapper.
Funny how some things never really change. BS, BS, BS all the time......!
