I took my 15yr old son to Penn States Blue-White game today. Along with a bunch of autographs, He managed to get a picture taken with the starting D-End # 97 Ryan Buchholz.

Is your son a recruit yet? He's bigger than the player.

Miles Sanders looks like he beefed up a bit. It was really noticeable in his legs. He didn't run bad but make no mistake, he is no Barkley! I was probably more impressed with the running of Mark Allen #8, He looked smooth, quick and precise. Trace was looking mid season form already too.

I live about a mile from the lake. I can see it from our upper field. I only manage to fish it a few times per year. I prefer river fishing for smallies.

Miles only ran the ball 3 times for 6 yards. You would think they would have given him more reps in the game. Heck McSorley ran the ball a lot more than Sanders.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Based on the players stats, Colt had about 2" and 15 pounds on the PSU player. Colt is 6'-5" and 270#. My boy has the size but not sure he has the "want to" to play at a collegiate level. Every body says it's just a game but it really isn't. It takes year round work in weight training and conditioning to compete at that level.

I know i encouraged you before to push that boy some, but dang, i'm gonna do it again! lol

If he doesn't like the game, nothing will change that and i'd back off pushing him. If he does, he has alot ahead of him with some work now.

Just the thought of a chance for a scholarship and possibly pro with some work, is a chance most will never get. Just a scholarship is something my daughter worked for but didn't get. I know how i was at that age, and won't judge him because i knew it all when his age. lol.

BIC our son played 5 years at a D-II school. When he graduated from college he got invited to a Pro-Day workout but opted not to. He said he was done with football. He was a Defensive tackle, could bench over 500 lb and run a 4.76 40. Got to keep the grades up to play at the next level. Meet the expectations of the NCAA clearinghouse. Otherwise it is a year or 2 on academic probation.
Bic Most guidance councilors in HS will have the athlete's schedule full enough so they are eligible.

The only red that matters is CRIMSON and begins and ends with A!
