Been gone awhile, it took me giving my notice after 22-1/2 years on the job to get them to shut off the filters so I could get on Tman but hey, it was worth it. We did good on moose this year 55",59" & 61"..



After trapping, it's my next favorite thing to do..

Still got my little trapping partner. Well, she's not that little anymore..

Man the year started out different than past years. And stayed that way..

What was it White17 used to say? I had "metric tons" of mink this year..

Caught many and BIG dark marten this year..

My trapline cabin is getting a little more comfy..

otterman- the mitts are still holding up!

I have been working hard the last 10 years cutting and plotting line. I have a honest 52 hard miles with a few 7 mile loops off of that. Got a few safety cabins that have saved me more than once. I don't have a whole lot of one thing but have a little bit of everything and that's the way I like it. I run a 2012 Bearcat LT 570 and love it. Got almost 8,000 miles and just now had to re build the suspension but I run her very hard. I find my rope a long is my most valued tool and I go no where without it, hate falling thru ice in dry creek beds! Still waiting on the cats to come back like in the hey days of 15 years ago but they are coming, just a lot slower then I expected and want. It's taking ALOT of exploring to find my marten pockets, still havn't put my finger on why I don't have more. I have the terrain, elevation, and food source. A very successful marten trapper mentioned I might have a high bird of prey population and I do, year round eagles, hawks and lots of owls...

Here you go Trailblazersteve. I an not sure why they were sideways, but all i had to do was edit them(just rotate them a few times in my pic editor) and they came out good. Also nice job on the marten!
