I just bought my son a 20 gauge 870 express, so he can start hunting next year. Anyways it only came with a modified choke. I like a really tight pattern so does anyone know a good choke for this gun. I have looked at a couple primos Jelly head maximum, looked at a couple of Carlson's but I know nothing of these chokes. I have an undertaker on my 12 gauge that shoots real well and you can buy them for a 20 gauge I was just wondering if there were better options?

I bought a 20 gauge 870 Express, Light Weight, 20 plus years ago. My son has been using it with a Super Full Remington choke for years. It has performed great. I buy 3" #6 shot for it.

Standard full choke IMO. Use #6 3" ammo. I like Prairie Storm.

Too tight isn't always the best for beginners.

Thanks guys, I will have to look at some of these. ADC you know I am trying to make it what I want not what Cam wants or needs you have a good point on that.
