EAR/ONS ....East Area Rapist/Original Nightstalker (the "Golden State Killer" moniker is recent and gay)

I've been following this case for years. He is also almost certainly the Visalia Ransacker. This dude is one of the greatest and most evil criminal geniuses to ever live. The intricacy and shear volume of his body of work is mind blowing. I'm glad they got him, and I'm eager to know who gave the tip. Seems he settled down and had family and that and DNA may be why he stopped.

His last known murder is just horrifying and brutal. Young girl. Sensed somebody was in the house. Called a male friend over for protection. He waited for the friend to leave before raping and murdering her in the middle of the night. Beat her so bad they retrieved teeth from her lungs and there was nothing left of her face. I don't know how somebody gets that much hate in them.

He would break in, set up homes, then come back in the night and tie up the family, rape the woman or girl. Sometimes stay for hours. Unload any guns and stage ligatures when setting up the house.

There were some 50 rapes in the Sacramento area. When he started out there would never be a man in the house. Then there was town meeting to figure out what to do about the rapist. A man stood up and called him a coward for never hitting when a man was present...said it could never happen with him the house. Guess whose house got hit next??? That's right...the home of the man who stood up....and his wife was raped right in front of him.

No victim ever saw his face. They didn't have his prints. DNA later tied all the crimes together. But all the victims stated he had a tiny penis.
