2.79 today for Super Unleaded. Goes up every year just as school gets out, as that's when families start traveling for vacations and such. And, always a "shortage" of summer fuel additive.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Like was said already, It's spring time. Goes up every spring. Lots of people getting ready for vacation. Its an annual thing. Will get cheaper in Oct.

Exxon alone gained 6 BILLION dollars from the new tax laws. The rise in oil prices is just a little more gravy for their potatoes. Good for them! Hey, why don't you start your own gas company. Then you could give us all discounts. If their profit bothers you that much, quit buying gas. Just imagine where you would be tomorrow if Exxon closed their doors. Some day you may just have to kiss their bottom side just to get gas.

The issue is they can control their market by closing a refinery stop r slow production etc. Not here to start an argument but oil can do what they need to do to get what they want. Oil Companies profits and margins are at all time highs and they are thriving and doing very well.

probably doesn't help the explosion the superior refinery had , they supply much of the upper midwest
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

There has been turmoil and unrest in the Middle East since 1948. Gas prices seem to rise and fall with which political party is in office at least in the last twenty five years.

I'm wondering why they don't start manufacturing vehicles that run on natural gas? They say it's more economical, very abundant, and better for the environment. All our buses around here run on it.
