I have a chopped up deer liver that I added some SB to after it tainted a bit. I was thinking about grinding it up along with a few beaver castors, a few k9 anal glands maybe a little honey and a drop of skunk. Do you think I will be wasting my time?

Be warned Castor goes a long way in formulation. It can over power other stuff pretty easy. You can always add more if need be. What I'm learning is take just a small part of a good base and start adding stuff to it and testing. It saves you from ruining bunch of material.

I think it will work for you, I agree go easy on the castor, maybe half a tea spoon, and maybe ad an ounce of sun rendered fish oil save the skunk for later add a couple drops of anise instead. the honeys a nice touch and could get you a few extra fox or coon too. for fisher add the skunk. That's what makes it so much fun these almost endless possibilities.
