Any recommendations for a budget flounder gig? Going to NC coast and just want to goof around some with a gig. Will be wading. I have seen folks out there before catching flounder.

I made mine. 3/8" stainless rod. Sharpen one end. Hammer the other flat. Drill a hole in the flattened part. Thread cord 12 ft, through hole for stringer. Hold gig in sand and help fish up the gig The fish follow you around. This worked best for me while wading
