Howdy,
I got a pint of Reuwsaat's bait solution and I've been mixing up a little bait. Anyways, now the bait is turning grey and it has gotten really gellowy. It's like solidified broth. Is that natural? If not what should I do about it? The meat I used was blended up and I'm storing it under my house.
Also if anybody has ideas to share on how to use it, what to mix it with etc, I'd appreciate it! I know Most people haven't used Reuwsaat's bait solution but suggestions for any bait solution would be fine!

I don’t know for sure but he’s requires sodium benzoate to be added along with mixture. Did you do that?

I used Reuwsaat's last year, it has no SB or MP in it, you need to add a preservative to it............

I'm about to embark on this journey and have been reading this forum for a year in preparation. So speaking as someone who hasn't done this yet I have seen the folks on here say to add the SB and MP before you add the solution, and to let the SB activate.
I think I read somewhere that it could gas off for a week or more, and after it is done preserving then you add the solution.

This is what I am going to do as soon as I have time to process my left over beaver and bobcat carcasses.
