James I'm surprised that a good attorney like yourself would mess up and use the word "treaty". A treaty, how the U.S. is supposed to make deals with foreign countries according to the Constitution, requires a vote in the Senate that needs a super majority (2/3rds) to pass. Prez Barry and Ole Long Chin knew that couldn't "win" the Iran deal that way so called this treaty a "non-treaty" and did it their way. That's why executive orders aren't as potentially lasting as actual laws. I have my crayons so let me draw you a picture. Israel found out the Arabs (Egypt, Jorden, and Syria) plans of attack on the eve of the Six Day war (1967) and hit them first, catching all their air forces on the ground fully armed and ready to attack. After six hard fought days ( fighting on three fronts) Israel pushed all three countries back and occupied buffer zones around their country. There was no annexation but rather an occupation of land won in battle with countries bent on Israel’s destruction. Then in 1972 (the Yom Kipper war) all three Arab countries launched another surprise attack on Israel and came extremely close to defeating them. Israel (again fighting on three fronts) just managed to push them back. Liberals need to get their facts straight and stop trying to rewrite history.
