I had a heck of a learning experience at the Pennsylvania Trappers Rendezvous this weekend. I have attended many in the past as a buyer, this past weekend I set up as a seller for the first time ever. I had a painting of a red fox on wood that was in my shed for about 25 years, I did not recall where I got it or how I got it. I decided to put $25.00 on it and would have been willing to negotiate if it didn't sell. It sold within an hour of when I put it on display. I found out later the buyer was offered $200 for it and he turned it down. I found that Mark Zagger and Phil Brown will buy if you give them about 20-25% off. All in all I guess I sold about 75% or so of what I took. No wonder, I think my pricing was too low, lol. I was tailgating with Jake and Dave, a couple of good friends of mine that live close by. Jake had his camper there and a canopy to give us some shade. Hern was the camp cook and he did one heck of a job, breakfast, lunch and supper each day. The food was great as was the company. We had many visitors at our site over the 3 days.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Was good to see you Nittany

Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Nittany Lion, I had a great time hanging with you. Nittany even let me sell a few things of mine.
Nittany Lion was the corner stone of camp.

BTW, I was pooped today from camping, tailgating and staying up late for 4 days of rondy. I took 2 naps today.

I did not attend the auction, but I was told $10.00.
