He could get injured and have to be put down. Just think of the horse nooky he'd be missing out on. If it's a stallion.

Actually nra, I believe you are incorrect. Thoroughbreds of this caliber are breed naturally (well in breeding barns). The breeding programs are part of the racing culture. All the big fancy farms in Lexington and Paris Ky, where Windstar (Stage Magic) and Adena Springs (Ghostzapper) are, have and use their breeding barns to produce race horses like Justify.

Gotta chime in and agree with Redknot- I believe that caliber race horse has to be bred by "live cover" and not AI. I'm no expert but pretty sure thats a rule.

And he probably is the best horse out there. But, what happens to his stock if he would happen to lose a race? Does his stock suddenly take a hit?
