I love thunderstorms. I wonder if it is climate change?

The smokejumpers will be even busier in a couple of days.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Post a thread about thunderstorms, and some jokers try to turn it political.

I would love to go on a storm chasing vacation across the Midwest. Chasing tornados is a dream of ours.

That and storm watching in Vancouver island.

You typically don't have any thunderstorms, ever...?

Haven't seen one here in at least ten years. And then it was a lot shorter, one or two rumbles.

The one we just had went on for at least fifteen minutes.

They do have a lot more thunder and lightning in the Interior.

Just moved to Palmer from Wisconsin and was talking to a lady today that told me i would miss the thunder storm she was from the Midwest also. Never thought of that as one of the things I would miss but she is right its hard to beat a good thunderstorm on a hot summer night.

I enjoyed it. I always enjoyed watching them, growing up in Ohio.

Had one here last night. (Thunderstorm) Woke me up. Rained out on the job i was going to this morning.

You dont need any special equipment to chase a tornado. Rent a place to stay in OK city in early spring. Middle of march or so. Get a weather radar ap on your phone. Buy a gazateer map of tx ok and ks . Get a navigator. In a bad storm or rural area you need the paper map for when phone service fails.

If you get killed dont think you will be the first

Been sitting here listing to the storm for a couple hours and forecast says a few more to go. This is Danny's storm moving south I guess. Unusual track for storms here, as they normally come from the south west.

Are you sure it wasn't your volcano (the one you can see from Flat top) getting active?
