I've never tried them. What are your thoughts on them for the PEOPLE that have used them? What kinds and what not. Thanks

I've had good luck with the fox all call and coyote all call. The fox nature s call is great on post sets. Also the beaver lure has a very good consistency. Stays where it's puts and last well.

Good stuff. They work, just like most lures, if the set is in a good location. No lure is magic, and animals never swim rivers and travel miles out of the way to find them. The lures satisfy me as a repeat buyer, but, to quote Mr Lenon:
Quote:
No lure ever made will produce satisfactory if used improperly on a trapline improperly operated.
Quote:
By this I mean simply that the best constructed set ever made will not produce if made where animals never pass by, while a far less perfect set will produce quite well if made where many animals pass regularly.
The best scent ever made will not call animals five miles, will not overcome fear and caution to the point of making mink fight otter, fox, fight a pack of ...

Momma says there is a 36# box on the front porch right now. From John C. filled with nothing but Lenon’s Lures.

Hey Joepenn,
I may have missed your thought process but are you thinking that Mr Lenon’s weasel lure is supposed to smell just like a cut weasel gland? That might be a discredit to the Lenon’s and their decades of gland formulation experience. I have been using that product for over 40 years, probably closer to 50 years. It works GREAT on our Michigan weasels and mink. It is also a GREAT change up for fox and coyote sets. You may want to try it out on your critters in NewYork, I can’t imagine they are that much different.
Asa and his dad have been such amazing assets to the trapping world that I felt like I may need to stand up for them and their TOP NOTCH PRODUCTS.
I just received an order of the new flavors from John Chagnon and I am hoping/expecting the best.
Regards
SIGDOC

You can't go wrong with any of the Lennon lures. The muskrat lure smells so good you might be tempted to give it a taste. grin

I can't believe that there hasn't been more responses one way or the other. I will try (4) different 4 oz jars this year to see how they work for me. Thanks

Hi Everyone, last weekend Sheri and I spent the day with Asa cruising the UP backroads and had great weekend. Wish Au Gres and Manistique were closer. Just wanted to post and let everyone know Asa doing ok.

I bought two dozen bottles of several different types from Asa a few years ago. I think I paid 144 dollars for twelve bottles and have had good results with his Muskrat Lure, Fox and Coyote Natures Call, and both varieties of Fox and Coyote All Call. Have a few bottles of Mink and Weasel All Call that I am going to pop open this year for the first time. I wonder if you still get the same deal on a dozen bottles. I have a habit of buying lures and wax sealing the lids and storing them in heavy styrofoam shipping coolers so that when I retire I don't have to buy lure for a few years
