my son wasnt when he came from asia, thats why he is on pedia sure. he has gained 4 inches since they put him on it. he is still way underweight . He wasnt even on the chart with american kids his age when he first came, but now he is. He is still in the bottom of the growth range but on the chart now,but 10 pounds underweight. On the other hand, american kids are mostly Overweight so the chart doesnt really reflect that.

...She must be 4 ft tall. I told him if he didnt eat he would be so short if he ran into ppl his nose would get stuck in the b-tt cracks of women walking in mini skirts. I told him then everybody would call him b-tt crack sal. He ate a second piece of pizza. Hope this is ok. Don't give him any ideas.

Babies and toddlers quickly become hooked on whatever diet they are eating. They have many more and better working tastebuds than adults. The change in diet from what is commonly eaten in the Philippines to what is eaten here, may have thrown off his appetite.
I would take him to a doctor to make sure everything is ok anyway. He could have food allergies or other issues.
Being of Filipino and Italian descent, he will probably never be very tall. I would be careful about not giving him an inferiority complex, about being short.
Keith he knows how to take it....im well aware of the filipino and italian heritage and size factors. Just trying to give him the best chances, thats a parents job. He has regular checkups and thats what course the drs have chosen.

We are allowed one or two things we don't like. I probably don't have any that I don't like (except bugs and worms,)( Then again, after the thread about eating ants came up I tried one). for other brothers it's mayonnaise, zucchini, ECT. It works to my knowledge. Eat what you're given or go to bed hungry.
I know this won't help you though as you're trying to get him to eat. Not trying to get him to eat what you're giving him.
Sugar even a day before will ruin an appetite. Try Little to no sugar.

Sugar even a day before will ruin an appetite. Try Little to no sugar. he gets very little sugar,,he has a pre disposition to diabetes from both sides and sugar winds him up too much. He loves american foods,,,ate pizza like a pig and bread in philippines at 2....he knew 3 words mostly at 15 months...mom,dad,pizza. Im told its when they are in growth spurts that the appetite slacks off. I would think the opposite but im told no.

How bout the opposite, Spanks if you don't eat. I have gotten a few of those. If I remember correctly you are opposed to the Idea though. he gets enough spankins,,cant see spanking him for not eating. I dont think the punishment fits the crime
