Lord Jesus we come to you giving thanks for all your blessings you have bestowed upon us as individuals, families, a nation, and our friends. God you have created us and breathed your breath of life in each of us. God, your word says you know the number of hairs on our head and you care for us more than the sparrow. Lord, we lift up this man Tim to you. For you have given him life and now you know his present situation. God, first off, I pray you draw him and his family closer to you in this struggle with a diagnosis. God may your peace pass all understanding in this time with them. God, I pray they see and know you like they never have. God, your word tells us how to give you praise even in these circumstances of doubt and despair. Jesus, I pray that Tim runs to you and learns he can trust you in all things - even his physical life. Lord, I pray that others round about Tim can see you working through him in these times of physical challenges. God, may you increase, may we decrease. Thank you Jesus for all you have done for each and everyone of us. God your word tells us - by His stripes we are healed. Lord, I hold true to your promises for us. Thank you Jesus for your suffering, forgiveness of sins, and for the eternal hope we can have in you.
