I saw some pups out playing in the field last night and was wondering how far they will wander from the den during this time of year? Thanks

Saw these to little dummies just yesterday out in the street eating something off the pavement. No idea where mom or dad are at or where the den is. There is a city harbor to the left and the fence on the right is city waste water plant. There have been foxes in this area now for several years. Kind of a as a come back to when coyotes moved in. I've seen an occasional coyote in this park in winter. But for most part to many people around for them, so foxes hang out here now.

even adults don't travel far seems to me. mile or two.

Dens are easy to find they have a mess around the entrance unlike a yote den!

usually bones,carcasses,feathers
they wont travel far,im guessing cpl hundred yards but that can vary greatly from area to area
