Is there away to find out what oils mixes together like ambrette oil with what.
Best oil that goes with each other.

I learned by getting FREE, as gifts from loved ones, the following books...…. all 3 Nick Wyshinskis books, Kellen Kaatz, Russ Carman and all the books/brochures sold by MINKILOVE on this site....he has more copies folks.

I studied and noted in my lure notebook, all the "similar" and "mixers" and "NOT mixers".


Also, study the recently posted 15 pages of formulas by Wolfdog......find him in USER List and look at his Posts.

Mark Steck and Nick Wyshinski put out a video titled Formulating Trapping Lures and Baits. It has a section on essential oils that's very informative.

That depends on the solvent. Propylene glycol is a popular solvent for ambrette so that would be a starting point.
