America is being flooded with people wanting to enter our southern border checkpoints. Why not give everyone a number, send them back to Mexico, and tell them they can come back WHEN their number comes up. That way Mexico houses those who aren’t Americans and there is no need to separate families who are held in detention.
Those trying to sneak in get a meal and a bus ride back to Mexico. And no number.

We already have embassies in these countries they could go to to seek asylum.
It's said 160 million people want to live in the U.S. and there's a backlog of near 1 million who have already applied.

A few tacos (probably more than 10,000 a day) and milk or flavored water based beverage) has got to be cheaper than adult detention centers, separating kids into detention centers in other states and the political unrest it’s causing this country we have now.
As far as calling one’s number, it will take a while. If you’re undocumented asylum seekers it’s not going to be easy. We all understand bureaucratic speed, limited resources, and the slowness of our judicial process. Standing in line till it’s your turn is part of the process. If the list is 160 million long, your turn is going to take a lifetime. That’s the way it is.
Or, make an appointment. Have your documents ready. Hire your own lawyer at your own expense. Bring skills America needs. The line for such people is currently thousands long instead of millions.

I know how to solve this! Tranquiliz all the illegalls as they sneek in. Bus them up to the northern US and when they wake up they'll run north into Canada!
Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine!

Once they know the libs arn't in charge anymore and that we will arrest them for breaking our laws, the flood of illegals will slow dramatically I'm guessing they'd rather be arrested than stay where they came from. This problem isn't going to "slow dramatically" no matter who is in charge.

Take a look at how El Salvador got to be in the shape it is in today. Then ask yourself, if you lived there, would you head north or stay? It's a sad, sad story. No good for anyone, including Americans. World populations in certain areas have become pressure cookers. Folks who believe another law, the threat of getting arrested, or a wall from sea to sea will slow down this exodus of humanity is kidding themselves. The problem isn't going away. Period. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdgCRiw0swg

If there were reasons to stay home, people would. People need jobs (other than making/selling drugs). They need a government that supports education with good paying jobs, meaning incentives for finishing high school. they need a social fabric that doesn’t support early pregnancies. They need foreign investment to create jobs for Central America, not jobs stolen from America. Decent jobs are all that anyone wants. Outside of that, they’ll risk life and limb to go somewhere else.
Our immigration policies favor educated people. There are provisions for those who have been brutalized in their own countries. However, our system of helping the brutalized is being brutalized itself. Thus, “take a number,” “get in line,” and “go home.” We’ll call you when it’s your turn to be interviewed.

We should reunite illegal immigrants with their children. Give them a good meal. Then, send them back to Mexico or where ever they came from. Build the wall and patrol it with the National Guard. Stop sending them to the middle east. They were originally formed to protect the homeland.
Supposedly, we have 40M Americans living in poverty. If that so, let's take care of them first before we allow ANY more immigrants into the US and give them all this free stuff.
We are told not to judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but are told to judge all gunowners by the actions of a few.

I know a few blue party people and they feel why should we be feeding and allowing illegal people to enter and stay in the US. LOL I believe there are a lot of blues that believe that but instead of standing up they fight everything tooth and nail on this issue.

I'm guessing they'd rather be arrested than stay where they came from.... Agree. Sad state of affairs. On another thread I claimed drying up the job prospects would keep then out. The reality is pretty much what Muskrat states. The US is just too attractive to keep immigrants out. I guess, against my principles, Trump is way ahead of most of us. BUILD THE WALL. At least with a wall we can meter the legitimate immigrants in, and at least have a little control over the feral population.

Foreign investment to create jobs in Central America? Lets hand over large sums of money to a corrupt Central American government so they can pocket the money and then whine for more. I get what you are thinking here, but the reality is something far different.
