Put a $1000.00 pently on Mexico. For every person it lets cross its Southern boarder,on their way here.

Or stop all aid payments to Mexico. And send them South of their boarder.

What if we ran our borders like the rest of the world and gunned down people trying to enter illegally? Might slow the progression, eh?

It would be cheaper and easier for us to help develop legitimate jobs geared towards Central America. Something along the lines of, “give a man a fish and you’ll feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, clean and market those fish, and he’ll stay home because he has a job”.

Newt, if you do that, the only people passing through will be the drug dealers. I think we already have enough drug dealers here.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

It's not up to the U.S. to create jobs in other countries just so they don't come here illegally. People come here for our social safety net. While illegals aren't supposed to get benefits in many states they do. Land mines with a low fence, wouldn't take long and they would quit coming.

I often wonder if you have ever been correct about anything in your entire life? How about Kicking all of the illegals … (I'll say it again in case you missed the point ILLEGALS) out of the country and develop good legitimate jobs for American citizens as well as the immigrants that came here LEGALLY! It's a crime to just walk across the boarder and if you do it twice it's a FELONY! If you want to help Central America so much, I'm sure they would welcome you with open arms, put your money where your mouth is and go start a business down there. Better yet, I hear Syria is nice this time of year.

2X Fix the world on the US dime while spending none of his own money! Cali has prisons full of illegals and on the welfare rolls I think we have paid enough!

a quick fix , freeze all wire transfers to Mexico , and other south american countries. till we can be sure no illegally earned money is leaving the US. Mexico depends on this cash as 1/3 of their GDP.

in the mean time all that cash will have to sit in the US either making interest or buying stuff.

we need to secure our currency and banking.

when wire transfers open back up they can be taxed at 10% for every dollar leaving the US. legitimate workers can file that as part of their income taxes and get back 5% as can companies and citizens.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

This would immediately stop most illegal aliens, that don't want to permanently move to the United States from coming here. The illegal aliens already here to make money to send back home would probably leave or find other ways to send money back home. The illegal aliens that want to move here permanently, would keep coming.

You have to think if illegals helped the economy so much then Cali would be printing their own money by now! wink

X4 or trade people that want to work and better themselves for welfare recipients and school teachers. The school teachers are a bonus that aren't counted in the trade sense those poor underdeveloped countries need education so badly.!

Oh the other fix is to bus the families up to Canada and let them walk across the border and ask for asylum. I bet after a few thousand Canada would chip in to help build the Wall!

it is a very complex issue 50+ years in the making , but do what you can and use what you can to pay for other enforcement.

mexico has plenty of natural resources. including oil and rich farm ground. if they don't want things to change there economically why should we?

Sending their people here is a sweet business for them as they send back billions for the Mexican economy and they don't need to lift a finger!

Yeah, that's what the commies did at the Berlin wall. We ain't them, thank God. If you really think this way, I assume you'll volunteer be one up there gunning down little kids and women.

As long as this country is as divid d as it is , there will be no easy fix for the wall.

The only way I see is for the younger generation to see how bad it has gotten and then raise their children the right way, because to many of the current young are to far gone to bring back to reality
