Here's the picture of the 4 hatched live hummingbirds in the same nest, which from what I've read, is pretty rare.

I don't think those are hummingbirds. The nest and chicks look wrong and they usually only lay two eggs. The nest should also be much smaller than half an orange and higher too.

I have only found 4 hummingbird nests, so I may be wrong.

The hummingbird nests that I have found located made by the ruby throat-ed bird over the years are not much bigger then a good size walnut and not as open on the top of the nest. I have seen some with 3 eggs but never 4. Looking forward to more photos to come.

Yeah, not a hummingbird nest. The one I found was about the size of a quarter. And those beaks are completely wrong.

I can't recall for sure if I got this pic off trapperman or somewhere else. I have only ever found one hummer nest, but it was empty.

Although baby hummers are hatched with a more "normal" shaped beak, they soon grow long and skinny. That being said, I believe your find is a nest of a Red Eyed Vireo...or some other vireo specie. Hummers usually build their nests on the upper side of a near-horizontal limb too. That is a weaved nest in the fork of a limb.

Maybe an adult humming bird was checking out the yellow flowers ( beaks ) in the nest

Maybe Iam wrong on the size of the nest....didn’t want to get too close....We put out a Hummimgbird feeder and you can watch the Hummingbird at the feeder...then return to the nest. The bird also takes a different route back to the nest each time ...as to not give the location away.

Neat pics. Only one I ever found was about size of a half dollar at top opening, it was in crotch of a Willow near a hay field. It wasn't much bigger than a golf ball if I recall correctly.
