Mule deer and cow elk up and down the street in the neighborhood. Not afraid of people or barking dogs. Must be dry where they spend their midday naps.

My grandparents use to take me every summer there when I was a kid for a 2 week vacation, we would go north up to sportsmen camp ground and fish Williams creek and the lake. I have a 24" German brown trout that me and my dad caught out of piedra river. So many great memories up there, my grandparents are gone now and I have been wanting to go back up there and take my family. I heard that there have been a lot of new house and it's not as great up there as it once was.

mule deer and elk are in town cause that's where the lions aint most of the time. lion hunting has been sharply curtailed. so when you hear about cougar's in town or hanging around a school or something you know why. they get hungry when they are young and not good hunters or get old and don't get around as good or get bad teeth.
