He was a brilliant intellect. He also overcame many tragic events in his life including the diving accident in college that left him a quadrpaleguc. He didn't let that slow hm down.
I will miss his wonderful and interesting commentaries. I will have to make do with his books from here on.
RIP Charles.

I loved reading his articles and opinions. Jim

I was terribly sad when he became too ill to continue appearing on the evening shows, because I selfishly wanted to know what his opinions were of the Trump presidency. RIP Me too. He was the kind of man who would not hesitate to recognize the accomplishments of any politician, regardless of their political leanings or personal idiosyncrasies.

I'm also sad to see his passing. His letter to everyone (read on Fox News) announcing his terminal cancer was an exclamation point to his life and so typical of the man. Additionally, a piece he wrote in the Washington Post, about the passing of his brother, will likely inspire you, as it did me. If you haven't had the chance to read it, take 5 minutes, it is time well spent ... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/01/26/AR2006012601471.html?noredirect=on
