Sometimes I think it's a regional thing...In this part of the country most people say Kye-Oatey.
I hear the pronunciation "Kye-Oat" from western trappers mostly.

Pronounce it the way it is spelled.There is no y at the end of coyote X2 Drives me nuts when said with a y on the end. Seems to be a southern thing.

Isnt "coyote" the spanish word we use for the Indian pronunciation of "KI-oat"? Or it should be lol. KI-oat is the way i say it, emphasis on the KI
