Stopped by an old friend's house today. We spent a couple of hours just jawing, talking about friends, old & young, & a whole bunch of stuff. When I got up to head back home she said "I've got something for you." It was a big box full of trapping books that had belonged to our old departed friend Bill Lewis. She couldn't have given me anything to make me happier.
Those who knew Bill were blessed to have had the chance to glean a bit of knowledge from this wonderful quite trapper. I will never forget Bill.
