Ban a traditional celebratory use of fireworks. Not because of a drought but just because freedom can no longer be tolerated. Im surprised people are not shooting roman candle balls of fire at the county commissioners. It saddens me that here in the land of the free people will accept a ban on a celebration of our country's inception. Truth is I haven't seen a 4th of July celebration in years, all the towns do fireworks a week before or a week after; use the excuse that it won't interfere with folks going to the next towns deal. And it does allow the vendors to hit all the towns. Went to Neosho's deal yesterday, not even in July. and plan to see the one in Senaca on the 7th. They put more emphasis on Black Friday sales or any long weekend than on Independence Day; and that is because they want us dependent not independent.
