seems the plug and wiring on the back of my 2000 350 has been rednecked to death.
gonna have to cut it out and rewire the trailer plug, got most of it figured out and think i got the last wire figured as the hot all the time wire for charging a battery on the trailer. pretty sure it's the red wire coming from the truck's wire harrness??

Here is the only way to go when wiring a truck for a trailer.

There are several different outfits that make these plug-in type harnesses, this is just one. No splicing to corrode.

it's the trucks wireing harrness that's been hacked and chopped. pretty sure i have it all right tho thanks yall
