Does anyone have any advice for shipping a flat of worms to Canada for a fishing trip? My kids like to drag them behind the boat and can go through a bunch.

Where is a good place to get them?
Any issues shipping to Canada from the US? (I live in PA)
Can I just take a flat of worms over the border?

You can take worms across border as long as there on paper and no dirt

bring the bag from bedding and tell them that is what they are in show them the bag if they have any questions at the border.

I have only been using it about 2 weeks but it is holding my worms nicely till I can get back out fishing .

also some of the bait supplies can provide you a letter with your receipt that the worms are in Canadian legal bedding.

I took 3 dozen crawlers across the boarder a month ago in shredded newspaper. Boarder agent asked if I had bait, i told him about the worms in shredded newspaper and that was that. Worms lasted the week just fine, probably would've lasted longer.

What’s a flat of crawlers going for now? Local bait shops here are about $2.50 / dozen.

500 Canadian crawlers shipped to my door was $58.00. So roughly $1.40 dozen.

As long as none of the crawlers have a DUI you should be good.
