Im lookin at starting a pullin mower. I know a guy that has a 110 with an 8 horse and 214 witha 14 horse in it. What are they worth? They dont have decks. Just the tractor and they come with some weights. I don't know what they're worth, but from looking on Craigslist people want 700- 1300 for just one mower. Hes askin 900 for the pair. Anybody have a ballpark of what their worth?

I have a 317 I'd part with. It has a deck and a snow blower. Its the same thing as a 318 without power steering.

probably. I'd have to look after work to be sure. I haven't ran it in a couple of years. Some fresh gas, A little work with the points, and some tire plugs and she'd be good to go.

If your looking at pulling garden tractors I would suggest you find a old cub cadet that is shaft driven matched with a Kohler motor. Belts get to slipping after a few pulls. Depends on what class your wanting to pull in. Nephew use to pull modified, that little tractor sure could pull.
I would see how they are set up and what motors are in them etc. before making your decision.

Dragged in a 1970s JD 100 yesterday.

I'd look for shaft drive too, seen a cub cadet with a v8 in it! years ago, I've used JD's for a few years and the "GTs" are alot stouter.
