Compared to what kids are exposed to these days The Mountain Men might as well be Mary Poppins.

NewHouse114 and I took our dates to see that movie when it first came out. The gals just wanted to smooch, Chuck and I were mostly obliging, but also watched the movie out of the corner of our eyes to the best of our abilities! We had to go back another time to watch it proper.

Great movie. The scenes from the rendevouz make it worth the price of admission.

Filmed in the Grand Tetons and surrounding areas. Film critics Siskel and Ebert didn’t like it. Type of movie big city people wouldn’t understand why outdoors folk would like it.

Goggle CD universe and check their movies section. They have a lot of old movies that have been redone in DVD.
