Prior to crossing the NY state line, I saw a sign that shock me, it said if you bring a handgun into NY, you will spend one year in jail. It wouldn't have taken much for him to keep her from reaching over the console from the back seat to retrieve her gun from the glove box. And to always be aware of your surroundings.
