A new Massachusetts law allows police, family members and dating partners to request that firearms be temporarily taken from people who appear to be at risk of harming themselves or others. Dating Partners? What does that mean? Who says if they are dating or not. Anybody have a vindictive ex that might try something like this just before deer season? How do these laws get passed and how are they upheld? Oh yeah "If it helps just one person it is all worth it".< Said in a chant like voice.> Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Trouble with a law like that in ohio is that they don't know how many guns I have. Does the government in Massachusetts know how many guns you have? Will my toes ever warm up?
