The big difference was the snowfall and temperature. The winter of 77/78 in the UP was brutal with the snowfall, but not as brutal as the extreme cold in North Pole, AK in Jan 89.

Yep I live 18 miles from the fairgrounds in Kalamazoo where the NTA was held two years ago, and I was in Escanaba 4 years ago for NTA No comparison for city, people and geography Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!! If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell
