A week ago I had 21 birds. As of this morning, I think I'm down to 2 roosters and 2 hens. Tore another hole in the shed and killed 4 or 5 more last night. I've killed nearly 10 coons this past week and they just keep coming. . Getting very frustrating. yes,big loss....hammer them...pm to u

if you guys arnt smart enough to build something to keep the coons out you should figure what you have in the chickens (feed, price of birds, time taking care of them) plus what the coon will bring you this winter(what a waist just throwing them away} after all they have been there for years and a lot more to replace the ones you kill your the ones feeding them. you can buy eggs from the neighbor that can keep them out and probably have money left over. Congrats, you're in the running for dumbest post of the year.

thats what i thought when i read you guys posts to its a wonder theres any chickens in the country looks like the coon would eat them all kind of like the neighbor builds a open front shed and complains about the birds being in it if you dont want the birds in it put a door on it so they cant get in I honestly don't know why you're responding to a subject you seem to be clueless about. Have you seen my coop? Have you seen the holes they've torn in the wood walls to get in? Your neighbor sounds like an idiot, but it also sounds like it's contagious.
