My fiance was taking about how a truck dumped a load of dirt on the highway today, and she wished we had a vehicle to pick it up. I reminded her she opposed my buying a truck. She reminded me that she wants one, when it's our only car payment. Mine is up in September, her's is up in October (right before season opens out here). Counting down.

Wish NTA wasn't so close (going to suck loading into my car).

If you can only have 1 vehicle, a truck is much more useful than a car. I could not do what I do without a truck. You will enjoy having a truck.

We currently have two trucks and no cars.

I have had a truck continuously since the mid 70s and as long as I am still able to get about, I do not plan to be without a 4WD truck. I had nothing but a truck for about 15 years but bought an older model small car to run errands that do not require the truck to help keep the mileage down on the truck. A hunter or trapper without a truck just does not make sense to me.

I have 3 pickups. Each one has a different purpose. Best part, they are all paid for. Have no interest in vehicle payments.

I have never owned a car and never intend to.

Bought my first pick-up in 1979 and I've had one ever since.

I trapped out of a corolla sedan last year. Not much fun, especially when you get two or three beaver on a check. One had to ride on the roof rack once lol!

She came home the other day with an ad for a truck. I love this woman.

OR here's a story...

One of my husband's friend told him the story of when they found out she was pregnant- she had given him permission to buy a car after he had been wanting one for a while, the about-face made him suspicious and he had her take a test, the rest is history.

She wants a truck, too. Told her she can drive it, but I will be hauling skunks.

We had been married less than a year and wife told me to select a new pickup and she would buy it for me. I did and she did.
