Does anyone have an idea how much whole, green frozen castor is bringing per pound? Basically straight from the beaver to the freezer.

I have heard as high as 70 per pound for the best of the best. It IS in demand...establish a buyer that you are confident with...there are some "jokers" out there....so beware.

Dried was $50 a couple months ago, since that's how most buyers want it.
Auction house and some country buyers may take it green......just ask them.

Castor shrinks a lot one loses a lot of weight. That’s why I was wondering how much folks sell to luremakers for when green. Some like to use fresh, green castor in lures.

I trade green and rough cut castor and sac for lure every year. Great way to restock..

Common sense catches alot of fur..
