Didn't wanna hijack the skunk thread but this is a down sized version of the WA style cage traps ( which is a well known design up there )
Anyhow these are some sketches from my note book of the basic ones I made. There's a few more I came up with but haven't build or put to paper.

Good Wolfie

That's almost what I have under the house for rats, if it weren't for this ruptured disc I'd get one out to share.

I don't even know the company that made them, got them in a large buy yrs ago

if it has a wire mesh pannel as a trigger it's one of Jim Comstock's swing pannels. Never laid hands on em but I've heard nothing but good things about them !

It is like Bernie Nelson,s- "Bernies Cage" from almost 20 years ago. It was shown on trapperman but it seems to have disappeared or at least I can,t find. I have copies some where of the posts about 11 years ago. Bernie sold some to the Washington trappers and others. The really only difference was the spring on the doors. Worked the same as a Comstock. The trigger could be a swing bar with wires or a single bar sticking up or down depending on whether the trap was spring powered or gravity doors.
