Which restaurants are good to eat at in or close to Escanaba?
Steaks, fish ect. Or specialty’s restaurants like hot dog or burger joints
Not the chain joints..
Thanks

The Family Inn at 6380 North 11th Street, Escanaba, MI is a great breakfast spot and they have a varied menu for lunch and dinner as well. They do close at 8:00 p.m. though except Friday at 9:00.

I stayed next door at the Sunset Motel (now the Sunset Lodge) for the 2014 convention and ate at the Family Inn several times. Looking forward to a big breakfast there again this trip.

You can check them out on line:

We've had burgers at the Buck Inn east side of town. Good burgers.

Are there any pastie shops around Escanaba? I know where to get some on the east side of the UP but not sure about the west side.

And is it gravy or ketchup in the UP?

Minker, Last time there were 2 vendors on the grounds selling Pasties.

Look me up In the Beef Building at Backwater Baits. and I will drive to a shop or two.. Pasties might just be my noon meal everyday and maybe Breakfast once or twice.
