Got a problem. Our '82 732 gas powered Bobcat broke down. A hydraulic hose broke a leak. It's a metal hose, & uses 10W30 for hydralic oil. Went to Carquest & they said patching a hose wouldn't work...too much pressure. Trouble is, we can't get to the other end of the hose, to put a new hose on. We took the seat off, as well as other components. Still can't get to it...not even close. It seems pulling the motor is the only option.!? There has to be a better way??? Any thoughts? Thanks so much! All the hydralic hoses run off the same reservoir, so we can't get the machine to the trailer. The fix would be easy if we could get to the part. Removing the gas & oil tanks wouldn't help because there's a welded plate under it. We have to finish building an access road to our land & are at a standstill. I'll study You Tube. I'm hoping there's a removable plate UNDER the machine, but it doesn't look like it.

We took the cage off tonight, along with some other stuff, & cleaned it up good.
The cab doesn't tilt.
ajw78, you're right. Saturday my dad priced a rental @ Ace Hardware & it was in the range you mentioned. Dad said he may sell this 1 next year. It's handy to own, but I know what you mean.
The Bobcat dealer is a hour away, but I kind of wish we would've bought the replacement hose there so I could pick their brain on how to fix this bugger.

Did ya look at compression unions?
Ya have to be able to get to it enough to cut the line.

The small one I had to work on 25 years ago the engine had to come out. We needed a pressure washer to clean it out.

Call them on the phone and ask.
