On private ranches - even funnier.

Big catches aren't what makes a great trapper anyways. How many of the available critters do you catch and how quickly did you do it. That's the measure.

Well said Mercer. Well said. And if a trapper is doing his or her job, year after year the bobcat catch will go down each year. The object is to thin them out HARD!

I always shake my head and say, "huh" when trappers aren't cordial to other trappers in a fraternal sort of way. Especially here on the net where comments live on (sometimes).
