Keep in mind,that when you look for chain,outside the trapping supply companies,the numbers go the other direction,ie,larger number,smaller chain.I believe the #2 that suppliers sell is app. 300lb.I think you want #4 which is app. 200 lb or #5,if you can find it,is app. 155 lb.It might be easier to find twist link in the smaller sizes.The problem is finding it at a practical price.

I found some #4 chain at Ace Hardware... I even kicked around the notion of putting it on some #1 and #11 longs... But I never did.

I think it would have worked fine but I just had no practical reason why to do it.

And I wasn't entirely sure the swivel j-hooks would fit through it.
