Anybody have any video of a bobcat working a toilet area? I have observed how barn cats work their own toilet areas. Age seems to be a factor in time spent at their toilet. So if making a set using bobcat scat, how does a bobcat react to an unfamiliar cats toilet area? Should trap be heavily guided? What distance from the scat should trap be placed?

Savell is the height on your pine straw backing critical or are you just giving him a smooth runway to sniff and go? Turds only or urine/gland use?

...I want the cat on the trap side of the turds so the raked up pine straw needs to help accomplish that....a couple pinecones to keep it off the sides....and a smooth area over the trap...gland lure on the turds.....trying to catch him if he just sniffs....and give him room to turn around and back up to it, if he’s lucky enough to get that far
Insert profound nonsense here

...it’s just a bobcat set....call it whatever you want
....all land sets except blind sets boil down to attracters and a trap.....it’s the trappers job to get a foot on the pan....lots of different ways to accomplish that
Insert profound nonsense here

Read the "trap placement at a rub set" thread, seemed like about 100% concurrence from everyone on the thread.
