I have a batch of muskrats in the pickle. They need a bit of fleshing/scraping. Do you rinse the hides and wring them out before putting on the beam? I guess my question is, do I need to rinse the pickle out or can I just wring them and flesh? What do you guys do?

They will end up back into the pickle after I scrape.

If your gonna put um back in id just ring them out. Unless your worried about acid and salt on your tools as long as you wash them good they'll be ok

Thanx Colt. Worked out nice. Saved me some time and did not have to re-adjust my ph.
