I understand the fur won't be worth anything. I was just hoping to be able to catch a coyote in another state. I'm sure the landowner would appreciate it and it could be an opportunity to come back and trap in the future. So, I can see that you don't need a license to shoot them, but what about setting a trap for them.

Most counties have 1-4 guys that are supposed to control coyote predation. I think it's pretty exciting to call one in, it seems easier to call them out there than at home. I think it's harder to surprise them here at home. If you go calling early in the morning and near dark at night you could hunt antelope in warmer part of the day

Stay away from hay stacks usually more skunks there Saddles where it's lower on high ridges, trail junctions, saddles with trails, also locations I have set before

As stated before, you do not need a license to trap coyotes. No need to call a Govt agency. BUT, you must follow all the rules/regs of trapping. Traps tagged, 72 hr check, ect
