Hey guys, I went back to a beaver swamp that had beaver in it last fall. I didn’t see any new cuttings, which I know they don’t cut hardly any limbs in the summer, but I found various stems and aquatic plants chewed up floating all around. I know muskrats do this as well, and all the stems were very small. Would these be beaver? Thanks

Sounds more like muskrats, however beaver will feed on water lily roots.

I'm thinking beaver.You should be able to find a track or two or some muddy channels etc to confirm.

Check the cuttings for tooth marks,you will know immediately.
