I've been drying grass and peat moss, and getting ready to boil. What have you been doing to get ready for trapping season?

Ive been dying, painting, and adjusting traps. Also been doing a little scouting. Just out of curiosity, why do you dry grass? For flat sets?

I am going to try setting a couple traps like Mark Zagger. I like the idea of making a set and not having to up-keep it, so I am going to test it out on a few sets.

I haven’t done a whole lot but I’ve been scouting and doing adc work for some neighbors... oh yeah and setting up bait stations

Setting up bait stations, boiling foot holds and painting conibears. Got a great big loop to make tomorrow asking folks for permission.

I boiled and waxed traps on Monday, conibears are all painted.
