Anyone else having the coon and skunks ripping up the corn patch. LOL I have had to set some DP's to save the corn patch. I have a cage and all I catch is skunks in them. LOL A double this morning again.

I got some DP's from traprjohn and they are the ticket.

I too have been sending some coon to the great den tree in the sky. Have also caught 2 skunk. They did not spray much when shot in the chest cavity with a pellet gun. They did not actually spray any at the shot. A little just seemed to leak out once they were dead and muscles started to relax.

Same here didn't spray maybe a little musky where cage was that is about it.

If you are using bait make sure it is of the sweet kind. I have trapped in town some masked critters and have had good luck with sweet rolls or even licorice.

I caught those 2 skunks in DPs baited with a oreo cookie and some peanut butter. Thought the first was a fluke so reset and rebaited and caught the 2nd a couple days later. I guess I am a slow learner. I had not ever caught anything other than coon in DPs.

I put up an electric fencemy third year, so far so good, lol it killed a lil grinner
