swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Iffn I was there Mark, I'd perhaps even drink one of your home brews?
On second thought...

bnb This was Saturday. Sunday was warmer by a couple degreeas. Wish you were here. It is so hot it will make a guy drink ditch water. Mark, I was walking along the edge of a corn field today, drainage ditch on the other side and a half mile from the truck. Makes a fellow think what that water would taste like. Only 89 here in Wisconsin though. It is my opinion that the humidity is 10 percent higher around a cornfield than anywhere else on earth. LOL Zim

I never say I get sick of things as the devil attacks in people's words they speak, but every time I get feeling like I am the boiled lobster, I think about some October ice storm, blizzard with me thinking about the animals all huddled up, and that cures me of complaining about heat. Not much you can do with 104 degrees, but what we have been doing is running fans in the north windows as I have a cedar tree there, and without running the television or cooking, it is not that bad. It has been cooling off on the high desert here at night, and the rest of this week is supposed be in the low 80's for daytime highs, so relief is coming as the farmers do need those Monsanto corn and beans to ripen or burn up with enough heat index days. It is just the few dog days of summer. For a reference point, I used to be in a John Deere 55 combine cab as a teenager all day in heat like this, sometimes closed up as the air was black with oat dust. It was a true sauna and that was in a house without running water or AC.
