The judge issued a signature bond meaning they don't pay their $20k bond unless they violate the terms of their release, ankle monitor and can't leave the county. Ankle monitors are easy to take off and put on an animal. Yes you read $20k bond right. I've seen dwi and drug offenders get bigger cash only bonds.

Not surprising is there are plenty of houses like that in the Taos area. The houses are called earth ship houses. Some are actually nice and others look like theirs. Taos is a very diverse area especially with the hippies there.
