The T&PC magazine has been bashed on this forum rather frequently over the past few years. I still find the magazine a pretty good read each month it is published. The current issue has an awesome article by Jim Spencer which tells us about the days he spent with Mark June on his Texas line. For those that left their subscription run out you are missing out on some mighty fine reading.

it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I started receiving The Trapper magazine in 1982 when I join the PTA as a lifetime member .Just to refresh my memory I got a few of those old copies out .Some of the authors of the articles during those years include Gerry Blair ,Carroll Black ,Don Shumaker ,Bob Noonan ,Charles Dobbins ,Dennis Kirk, Chuck Spearman ,Major Boddicker .Most of those had articles in several issues throughout the year . Plus Kermit Sterns did the Question and Answer column. Stephen S. Boynton wrote for AFRI and Parker Dozhier wrote the Fur Market report .That was quite a line up of people with trap line and fur handling knowledge . I think there are those that are writing now that are making a name for themselves . But the way people receive information now is very different from what it was in the 1980's . The Trapper still does an excellent job of providing info for those that wish to learn about trapping ,calling and fur handling . And there are now several other similar magazines that are now available .

It was the first one I got when I join the Mass TA back in 1984 and still get it no matter how it is because still have some things to learn from it. Like any other mag for trapping and hunting.
